Planned Gift Marketing: Tricks and Treats

After some effort, you have the support of leadership to incorporate planned giving in your fundraising quiver. Or perhaps you are wondering about your first step or your next step in planned gift marketing. How do you get the attention of the people who need this information and, more importantly, are most likely to respond? In this session, an experienced expert in planned giving marketing will treat us with the nuts and bolts of developing a marketing plan tailored to your needs and budget. In addition, seasoned planning professionals will provide advice and tricks of the trade regarding what has and hasn’t worked.
Terry Sites has served as the president of Endowment Development Resources (EDS) since 2008. He has a BA Degree from DePauw University (English Composition). His writing/publishing experience covers planned giving and planned gift marketing, financial services education and training, and website design and content development. He works directly with clients and the EDS design/production team to produce customized marketing materials addressing a variety of topics. He has also served as a seminar instructor and provides editorial oversight for EDS publications.
