Mentor Program

  The Chair of the Mentor Program shall be responsible for the following:
1.    Distribute mentor/mentee applicant forms; review and pair mentors with mentees; periodically follow-up with both parties to evaluate the success of the relationship.
2.    The duration of a mentor relationship is one year, unless terminated earlier by either party involved; the Mentor Committee Chair shall document the match results in the Mentor Committee notebook – parties involved, purpose of match, resolution (problem solved, issue resolved, networking opportunities expanded, etc.).
3.    The Chair of the Mentor Committee shall communicate with the Membership Committee to provide necessary interfacing opportunities.
4.    Develop a way to recognize the informal mentoring that occurs among PGCH members at meetings, etc.
